Eat Beautiful – NYC Launch Party

The evening started at Phil Winser’s Fat Radish restaurant on Orchard Street NYC – the perfect venue for an intimate dinner! The chefs used fresh, organic ingredients to cook seasonal, skin-boosting recipes from my book, Eat Beautiful, and the restaurant was decorated in the style of an English Country Garden with stunning flowers by Brenton Wolf.

It was so special to be able to celebrate in the company of my wonderful guests including my gorgeous friends Sienna Miller and Anja Rubik who co-hosted the event with me, as well as Toni Garrn, Inez & Vinoodh, Coco Rocha, Dick Page, Linda Rodin and Melanie Ward to name just a few of the amazing people who have been an important part of my journey over the years.

What we ate

As guests arrived they were welcomed with a drink at the bar before dinner and canapés were served – delicious Seaweed Nori Rolls and Fresh Herb and Tomato Bites

Once guests were seated at the tables, I thanked everyone for coming and Sienna Miller gave a very sweet speech, which made me feel quite emotional!

Dinner was then served! We ate three courses, and food was brought out to the table in sharing style platters:

Starter

Beet & Cilantro Salad, Avocado and Mint
Baked Eggplant
Fig Salad, Burrata & Arugula

Main

Salmon Fennel and Courgette
Sticky Chile Beef
Brown Rice & Vegetable Pilaf

Dessert

No-Cook Walnut Brownie
Stewed Apple

After dinner, we headed over the road to Bar Belly for drinks and dancing. The DJ played a mix of my favourite party music (I absolutely love dancing!) and the girls from Body By Simone came down and performed a flash dance to Outkast – The Way You Move, which was major!

At the end of the evening, guests headed home and were given Eat Beautiful Gift bags, packed with a book, some hand made Perfumed Chocolates (from the recipe in the book) as well as some of my favourite skincare and wellness essentials.
